Family of Woman Killed While Crossing the Street Files Lawsuit

PISMO BEACH, Calif.- The family of a woman who was struck by a car and killed last November near Cliff's Resort has filed a lawsuit.

Last November, Tricia Rittger was crossing the street to the main resort when she was hit by a Ford SUV.

The civil complaint against the Cliff's Resort and the city of Pismo Beach alleges the location where Rittger was killed is extremely dangerous because visitors to the cliff, who don't valet their cars, are required to park across the street.
