CENTRAL COAST, Calif. - This weekend you could have some traffic to deal with on the Central Coast, with several events happening.
Here's a list of road closures coming according to CalTrans:
The following events will occur this weekend on state highways in the following locations:
- Hwy. 135 (Santa Barbara County) will be closed from Den Street to Augusta Street on Saturday, Sept. 29 and Sunday Sept. 30 from 9 am to 5 pm in Los Alamos for the Old Days Parade.
- The Lighthouse Century Bicycle Ride will take place on Hwy. 1 and Hwy. 46 (San Luis Obispo County) on Saturday, Sept. 29 from 7 am to 5 pm. This ride will include a portion of Hwy. 1 from Morro Bay to the Piedras Blancas Lighthouse and a portion of Hwy. 46 West from Hwy. 1 to Vineyard Drive.
- The Carpinteria Triathlon will take place on portions of Hwy's. 101, 150, 192 (Santa Barbara County) on Sunday, Sept. 30 from 7:30 am to 12 noon.
Electronic message boards have been posted to advise the public about these events.
