I will continue to fight for North County through complete preparation and strong argument relating to Board items. In addition I will rely on citizen commissions, committees and neighborhood organizations to provide me with community input and direction. I will carefully read and apply the law to each situation in order to position the 4th District in a place where projects and county improvements can flow our way. To date I have delivered and fought for the revitalization of Old Town Orcutt, the major repair of the 101 highway, Clark Avenue , and the 135 freeway, the Orcutt Community Park, a new community library in Old Town Orcutt, and the renovation of the Lompoc Veterans' Memorial Building. I will continue to work with employers to find out their needs and advocate for job creation relating to the growth industry sectors within our community. I will understand all facets of the budget and will pursue revenue enhancements through oil development and promote a business friendly environment. Through working with regional, state and federal entities, I will work to fight for and obtain funding for infrastructure and roads, to ensure that our roads are adequate for our communities needs.
