Ragged Point Fire Contained at Quarter Acre

NEAR SAN SIMEON, Calif- CAL FIRE Crews contained a quarter acre vegetation fire, sparked up after a vehicle accident near Ragged Point.

Ragged Point is located in the San Simeon area, about a half hour north of Cambria in San Luis Obispo County.

According to CAL FIRE, the vehicle accident happened just before 3 p.m.

Several engines were dispatched to control the blaze, including air support.

The fire was contained in a little over an hour, now crews are just monitoring the area to ensure no chance of the fire sparking up again.
