Just 36 days left until election day and both nominees are getting ready for their first debate this week.
A new Washington Post poll gives President Obama a comfortable 11-point lead over swing states, like Colorado. The poll also shows about 56% of voters think he will win the first debate.
On Monday, the president visited some of his supporters in Henderson, Nevada.
"What you guys are doing is more important than anything in this campaign and you are really the ones who are going to be making the difference," says President Obama.
Meantime, Mitt Romney spoke out to his Republican supporters in Colorado about how he thinks the debate will go his way.
"We'll get to describe our respective views, and I believe the people of Colorado will choose a better way forward for our country. We can't afford four more years like the last four years," says Mitt Romney, Republican Presidential Nominee.
President Obama arrives in Colorado on Wednesday and is planning a rally Thursday morning after the debate.
