Man Dies At Hospital After Being Shot in the Streets of Salinas

SALINAS, Calif- Police said they were called out to investigate a report of a shooting on Villa and Archer when they found a man lying in the road.

Police said the call came in after midnight. When they got to the scene the victim was in the road and he had been shot several times, said police. The victim died at the hospital.

Police are still investigating but the believe the victim was riding his bicycle on Villa Street.  He was shot by either a person who was walking in the area or a vehicle driving by, said police.
