Hit and Run Under Investigation in Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The search is on for a teenage driver involved in a hit and run in Santa Barbara.

Witnesses say a man on a motorized bike was heading east on Hollister Avenue Thursday afternoon when a teenager driving a Sequoia tried to turn right onto Auhay Drive.

That's when witnesses say the driver accelerated in front of the biker and hit the biker to the ground with major injuries.

CHP is investigating the incident.
