Bus Fare Increase Rejected in Lompoc

LOMPOC, Calif. - While gas prices are high, it's possible more of you will be riding the bus. A proposed fare increase for riders in Lompoc has been rejected.

City council members rejected the increase at Tuesday's city council meeting. Fares will be staying the same. Single bus rides are $1.25 and monthly passes $40. Monthly passes for students are $30 and $17.50 for seniors.
