SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - San Luis Obispo Police, make a stolen property arrest, early Sunday Morning after reports came in about two males looking into parked cars in the area of Kentucky and Fredricks.
Officers responded to the area and on scene one of the officers located two males that matched the description provided.
As the officer exited his patrol car he walked toward the two male subjects. Upon seeing the officer the subjects dropped property they were holding in their hands and ran away from the officer. The officer gave chase and was able to catch one of the subjects after a short foot pursuit. This male was identified as s/MARTIN. An investigation revealed that property collected at the scene and on the suspect was stolen property from parked vehicles.
The other male that took off and was not captured, however, the investigation will continue to determine this suspects identity.
s/MARTIN was transported to the San Luis Obispo County Jail where he was booked for possession of stolen property and resisting arrest.
