Man Hurt in Officer Involved Shooting in July Scheduled to be in Court

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - 18-year-old Michael Ledesma, who was seriously injured after being shot in July, is scheduled to make his first court appearance Tuesday.

He was shot by the California Highway Patrol three times on July 15, 2012 after standing in the road near Las Alamos with a knife.

Ledesma is currently being held in Santa Barbara County Jail with $1.2 million bail.
