ISLA VISTA, Calif. - The search is on for a woman who allegedly stabbed two people near Santa Barbara yesterday morning, sending them to the hospital.
It happened on the 6600 block of Abrego Road in Isla Vista, an area where many UC Santa Barbara students live. Three additional assault victims have also been identified.
Both people have been released from the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect is a Hispanic woman who is 5'6" and weighs about 150 pounds. She left the scene in an unknown direction.
