Gas Line Break Evacuates Apartments in Goleta

GOLETA, Calif. - A major gas leak evacuated Storke Apartments on Los Carneros and Mesa Streets in Goleta just before 11 Tuesday morning.

Fire officials say construction crews ruptured a gas line, which prompted the evacuation of all students in the area.

The gas company was called to fix the gas leak.

No one was hurt.
