SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Santa Maria Joint Union High School District trustees may decide Wednesday night if they will buy land for a new high school.
The district is considering buying two parcels of land on the northeast corner of Preisker Lane and North Broadway in Santa Maria.
Officials want to use the land for a $15 million technical career high school.
The trustees are scheduled to meet at 6:30pm Wednesday night at the district office located at 2560 Skyway Drive, Santa Maria.
