Parolee Arrested After Authorities Search For Suspect For Hours

GROVER BEACH, Calif. - A parolee has been arrested in Grover Beach after authorities scoured the streets looking for the suspect for hours Wednesday night.

The parolee has been identified as 28-year-old Troy Clowers. It started around 5:30pm as a car chase on Highway One and ended in a Grover Beach neighborhood at a house on the 100 block of Carmelde Lane at about 7:00pm.

The San Luis Obispo County Gang Task Force used K9 dogs to help sniff him out and found drugs and a weapon.

Clowers was first taken to the hospital to be checked out and will be transported to San Luis Obispo County Jail.
