Jobless Claims Reach a New Low

Jobless claims fell to the lowest level in more than four years.

New numbers released from the Labor Department show unemployment benefits fell 30,000 to 339,000.

It's a double dose of good news for the job market after the latest monthly report showed the unemployment rate fell from 8.1 percent to 7.8 percent. This is the first time the unemployment rate has dipped below 8 percent since 2009.
