LONDON - Its a renewed series that has been going on since 2007 and the 49ers will have there second time to shine next year. Thursday morning, the NFL announced the 49ers will play the Jacksonville Jaguars in London in 2013.
The game will be played on October 27, 2013 at Wembley Stadium.
In 2010, the 49ers played the Denver Broncos in front of a sold out crowd. The 49ers beat the Broncos 24-17 behind Kyle Orton.
Wembley Stadium holds 90,000 people and is one of the largest sporting venues in the world. It is most known for European football across the pitch but has proven to be a successful event each year the NFL comes to play.
The NFL International series is part of the push for the NFL around the world. This year, New England will play the Jaguars on October 28.
