Young Surfers to Catch Some Waves at Competition in Morro Bay

MORRO BAY, Calif. - This Sunday surfers across the state will come to Morro Rock in Morro Bay for the National Scholastic Surfing Association northwestern competition.

Many local surfers will compete among the youngsters. The competition starts at Morro Rock and then moves to the Santa Cruz area, bringing winners from past competitions with them.

N.S.S.A. is a non-profit that has been keeping kids out of trouble and in the waves since 1978.
