Posted: Updated:

LOMPOC, Calif. - The Lompoc Youth Commission is reaching out into the community to help those high school students looking to land some financial aid. It's a free workshop, this month.

The Youth Commission is teaming up with Lompoc Parks & Recreation along with the Scholarship Foundation of Santa Barbara to provide a free financial aid workshop.

On Thursday, October 25th at 7:00 pm at the Anderson Recreation Center, representatives will be on hand to talk about the process for applying for grants and scholarships for college and trade school.  Don't miss this free opportunity to learn how to navigate the world of student loans and grants.

This workshop is open to students, parents or anyone that would like to learn more about financial aid opportunities to further your education.  For questions, contact the Lompoc Parks & Recreation at 875-8100.
