
CUPERTINO, Calif. - Apple will reportedly take the wraps off a smaller, cheaper iPad at an event on October 23rd.
The screen is expected to be about half the size of the iPad's which measures 9.7 inches diagonally.
Analysts speculate the smaller iPad will be priced at about $300.
Amazon's kindle fire is half the size of the iPad and starts at about $200. Google and Barnes and Noble also sell tablets in the same size and price range.
