SLO Police Arrest Couple for Robbing a Gas Station

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - San Luis Obispo Police make arrest in gas station robbery this weekend after a man and woman reportedly knocked off a Shell Station.

According to police on Sunday the San Luis Obispo Police Department receive a 911 call regarding a robbery that just occurred at the Shell Gas Station, located at 296 Santa Rosa. The reporting party stated a male subject entered the location, motioned like he had a weapon in his jacket pocket and demanded the money from the register. After removing the money from the register, the suspect was seen running from the area with a female who was waiting outside as a possible lookout. Upon arrival officers were provided additional information regarding the two suspects.

While checking the area a female matching the description was located in the Jack in the Box parking lot, located on Santa Rosa. She was identified as Miranda Bjerre and positively identified as the female who acted as the lookout during the robbery. During the investigation officers were able to identify the male suspect as Tyler Lowman. Suspect Lowman was located in a nearby trailer and taken into custody without further incident.

Suspect Lowman was booked into County Jail on charges of PC 211 Robbery and PC 148.9 False Identity to Police Officer. Suspect Bjerre was booked into County Jail on charges of PC 211 Robbery. Bail was set at $30,000.
