VANDENBERG AFB, Calif- Authorities have identified the victim in the shark attack as 39-year-old Francisco Solorio Junior of Orcutt.

Solorio's body was discovered Tuesday morning at Ocean Park, which is just north of Surf Beach on Vandenberg Air Force Base property. Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department has confirmed that the victim died.
The type of shark involved and other details are still under investigation.
