Local Firefighter Completes Bicycle Ride Across The Country

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.- Cal Fire/San Luis Obispo County Firefighter, John Bryne has completed a 3,401 mile bicycle ride across the country.

Bryne rode his bicycle from the San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge to New York's Brooklyn and raised money for his sister Lauren. Lauren is a 22-year-old quadriplegic who wants most to be independent.

Bryne raised money to buy her a specialized automobile to make it easier for her to go to college and also brought awareness to spinal cord injuries.
