Ocean Water Warnings At Central Coast Beaches

San Luis Obispo -- The San Luis Obispo County Health Department posted advisories at two county beaches after water tests show high levels of bacteria in the water. The lab results were from ocean water samples taken Monday at the following two locations. The water at Olde Port Beach in Avila west of lifeguard station and restrooms and at the beach in San Simeon off Pico Avenue. Both places have baceria levels exceeding state standards. The water is being re-tested and the Health Department will issue the test results tomorrow.
