Dollar General Store Moving into Lompoc, Bringing Jobs With It

LOMPOC, Calif- Lompoc Dollar General is coming to town and with it comes approximately 40 jobs.

According to the Lompoc Chamber of Commerce, the Dollar General store will move into the old Vons store location on West Ocean Avenue.

The store is expected to open by the end of the year or early 2013 and will be the first Dollar General store in Santa Barbara County.

For hiring, the Dollar General plans to hold a job fair in November.

The job fair will be held November 9th at the Dick DeWees Center at 1120 West Ocean Avenue from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
