MORRO BAY, Calif. - Residential construction fees are getting slashed in Morro Bay after the city council approved a temporary residential construction fee cut.
It's only applicable for projects that include three or less units.
If you do any construction while it's in effect, general government, traffic, park, water and wastewater fees are cut in half.
The mayor of Morro Bay says he hops the fee reduction will bring in more money and jumpstart construction.
The temporary fees end in July 2014.
