Stretch of Highway 101 Dedicated as Memorial for Christopher Meadows

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - A section of Highway 101 has been dedicated to a former San Luis Obispo Search & Rescue team member, Christopher Meadows, who was killed back in 2009.

Meadows died while on duty at Oceano Dunes. His father spoke at the dedication ceremony this afternoon. The Christopher Meadows Memorial Highway will stretch from Madonna Road to San Luis Bay Drive.
