Motorcyclist in Critical Condition After Being Hit By Car in Arroyo Grande

ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. - A motorcyclist is in critical condition at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center after he was hit by a car in Arroyo Grande.

It happened just before four Monday afternoon at the intersection of Valley Road and Sunrise Terrace.

Police say the motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital after being hit by 85-year-old Arroyo Grande resident, Elizabeth Thielker.

Police say Thielker is at fault because she did not yield when making a left turn at the intersection. That's when she injured 51-year-old Douglas Navolt.
