Lompoc Veteran Gets A Free Home

Lompoc - A Lompoc veteran and his family will receive a mortgage-free home from Operation Homefront and Chase Bank. It's part of the Homes on the Homefront program that partners with banks to provide homes for those who have served in the military since 9-11.

The keys to the house on Hickory Avenue will be given to the family today in a celebration at 10 AM. The charity organization has given homes to veterans across the country and provides other support services as well.
