SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - A Santa Barbara doctor accused of drug trafficking by federal investigators has posted bail.
He's now waiting for his trail, which is scheduled to start next May.
Dr. Julio Diaz is also being held responsible for the death of at least one patient of his, according to the Justice Department.
Officials say Diaz had prescribed that patient more than 2,000 pills in the weeks before the patient died of an overdose.
Diaz was in custody since his arrest.
He will be free until his trial.
