SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- The Santa Barbara City Fire Department responded to a vegetation fire after multiple people reported seeing smoke near Bishop Diego High School. Investigators determined the fire was set on purpose.
It happened around 11:00 a.m. along La Colina Road in Santa Barbara. The fire was knocked down quickly by the first fire crew. The fire started adjacent to the high school parking lot.
Four parked cars were damaged because the flames were so big. Santa Barbara City Fire Investigators say the fire was deliberately set.
