On October 23, 2012, at about 5:32pm, Morro Bay Police Officers responded to Morro Bay Cigarettes, at 640 Quintana Rd., regarding a reported robbery. The clerk of the business called 911 and reported a male entered the store and demanded money while showing what appeared to be a handgun tucked into his waistline. The clerk described the robber as a white male adult, about 20 to 25 years of age, wearing a tan, canvas type jacket with an attached hood, a black baseball style hat, a black bandana covering his face, dark blue jeans, and dark colored shoes. The robber exited the business and fled on foot to an unknown location. The loss to the business was an undetermined amount of cash.
