Election Alert Update: Final Statewide Ballot Measure Results

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- So far all precinct votes have been counted statewide. A total of 24,491 precincts were counted in California.

Here are the final results:

Prop. 30; Temporary Taxes to Fund Education Passed; 53.9% voted yes, and 46.1% said no.

Prop. 31; State Budget, State and Local Government Constitutional Amendment is NOT Passing; 39.2% voted yes, 60.8% voted no.

Prop. 32; Political Contributions by Payroll Deduction is NOT passing; 43.9% voted yes, 56.1% voted no.    

Prop. 33; Auto Insurance Prices Based on Driver History is NOT passing; 45.4% voted yes, 54.6% voted no.

Prop. 34; the Death Penalty Amendment is NOT passing; 47.2% voted yes and 52.8% voted no.

Prop. 35; Increased Fines and Time Served for Human Trafficking Passed; 81.1% voted yes, 18.9% voted no.

Prop. 36; Revision of the Three Strikes Law Passed; 68.6% voted yes, 31.4% voted no.

Prop. 37; Genetically Engineered Foods Labeling is NOT passing; 46.9% voted yes, 53.1% voted no.

Prop. 38; Tax for Education. Early Childhood Programs is NOT passing; 27.7% voted yes, 72.3% voted no.

Prop. 39; Business Tax for Energy Funding Passed; 60.1% voted yes, 39.9% voted no.

Prop. 40; Redistricting State Senate Passed; 71.4% voted yes, 28.6% voted no.
