SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY – Construction has been completed to build a new retaining wall along the southbound land Highway 101 on the Cuesta Grade. The new wall will provide greater stability to that particular section of the highway.
The $3.3 million project, which was completed by Condon Johnson and Associates of Oakland, California, forced a six month lane closure of the far right southbound lane from north of the grade to north of Ryan's Gate.
