Police Looking for 6 People Involved in Shooting in San Luis Obispo

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Police are searching several suspects who may have been involved with a shooting in the area of Santa Rosa Park Wednesday morning.

Police say, on November 7th 2012, at approximately 12:09 AM the San Luis Obispo Police Department received a call regarding a man screaming in the area of Santa Rosa Park.  San Luis Obispo Police responded to the above listed location.

Upon arrival officers located male subject who had been shot in the back with appeared to be a small caliber round such as a .22 caliber. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The circumstances are still under investigation by the Police Department. It believed that the suspects were known to the victim and their does not appear to be any risk to the general public at this time.
