
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. - Twenty people were evacuated from three facilities there when a wildland fire broke out at 12:30 p.m. Saturday on North base.
The seventy-acre fire was 100 percent contained by 4:00 p.m. according to a Vandenberg Fire Department representative. No structures were damaged.
Crews are mopping up the scene and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
