Posted: Updated:

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - The city of San Luis Obispo may be getting a new pedestrian and bus plaza downtown and Cal Poly Students are presenting their ideas for the new transit center.

Engineering and City and Regional Planning undergraduate and graduate students will present their ideas on Thursday for the proposed center, which would be on Santa Rosa Street between Monterey and Marsh Streets.

It's one idea to reduce the number of cars and encourage people to walk and ride their bikes in downtown San Luis Obispo.

The presentations will take place from 3:45p.m. to 5:30p.m. Thursday at Cal Poly in Building 13, Room 117 on Thursday, November 15.
