NIPOMO, Calif. - California Highway Patrol officers are looking for a car they say hit and killed a person in the Nipomo Area.
Officers found a body in the bushes around noon today at Thompson Avenue at Jovita Place. By examining nearby debris, officers say they think it was a felony hit and run. At this point, it is unknown at what time this happened.
Officials believe that the suspect's car is a 2004-2009 mint green Toyota Prius with major front end damage. They believe it was traveling southbound on Thompson Avenue.
At this point, the victim has not been identified.
