Previous Lawsuits Filed Surrounding Former SB Gymnastics Coach

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.- Central Coast News has learned new information on the former UCSB gymnastics coach who was arrested for allegedly photographing students while they were changing.

UC Santa Barbara officials say there were lawsuits surrounding Jeffrey Bettman when he was on the gymnastics team locally. No word on if those lawsuits are related to his current charges.

Bettman was recently arrested in Medford, Oregon after investigators found child pornography on his computer and as many as 70 victims that Bettman filmed during private shoots.
