The figure represents a 27.03 percent increase from one year ago and a 2.07 percent decrease from September 2012. In comparison, the national median list price in October 2012 was $189,900.
Sales inventory in October of homes in the same market was 1,358, a decrease of 27.36 percent from October 2011. The median age of inventory for the Santa Barbara market was 77 days, which represents a 6.10 percent decrease compared September 2012.
