LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Another drug smuggling boat has been found off the Central Coast, this one just north of San Miguel Island near Channel Islands National Park.
It's the seventh Panga boat found on the Central Coast this year.
Three men were found with 35 large bundles today. Those suspects are now in custody by the Coast Guard after they were spotted when officials say the boat stopped in the water.
The Panga Boat is also being held as evidence.
Crews will give all evidence and the suspects to immigration agents and the men face prosecution.
Of the seven Panga Boats found off the Central Coast this year, three were found in Northern San Luis Obispo County including the last one on October 19.
Four have now been found in Santa Barbara County, that includes the one found today off the coast of Santa Barbara, north of San Miguel Island.
