Nipomo Fatal Hit and Run Suspect Arrested

NIPOMO, Calif. - California Highway Patrol officials have arrested 23-year-old Marie Coyner of Nipomo for allegedly causing a fatal hit and run in Nipomo on Tuesday.

Police have arrested Coyner for allegedly hitting and killing 24-year-old Christopher Tietjan of Nipomo. Authorities say she was driving a 2007 Toyota Prius.

Authorities were able to find her based on multiple leads. She was arrested last night at 8:00 p.m. and booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail. She faces vehicular manslaughter and other related charges.
