SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif- If you can't find a job, make one up! That's what one central coast woman did and now she is a "housewife for hire." Amanda Stromsoe had a job but said it wasn't cutting it. She said the hours didn't work with being a mother of four, so she created her own business.
Stromsoe is at your assistance for any domestic need. "I like to clean, organize, cook and take care of everybody," said Amanda Stromsoe, a housewife for hire. She has enough calls to work 3 days a week, and has been getting new customers about twice a week.
"I do move out cleans, move in cleans, organizing, cleaning out garages, so those are just one time deals, but then I have my regular clients," said Stromsoe. She doesn't make quite as much as she used to, but she loves the job, and hopes it will grow, allowing her more time to go home and be a real housewife to her family. She has been running her business for over a year and business has been going well.
