After 82 years in operation, Hostess Brands is shutting down its plant after a worker strike, reports the Wall Street Journal.

That means you can say goodbye to Twinkies, Ding Dongs, and Sno Balls. There has always been the rumor that Twinkies have an incredibly long shelf life, do you plan on stock piling your favorite Hostess Snack cake?

If you are in sugar withdrawals at the thought of losing your favorite cake you may like what Forbes is reporting. According to its website, a Mexican billionaire who owns the largest publicly traded bakery may just buy the Hostess brand.
