fishbat announces that Graveyard Lovers will join the impressive list of bands to play at the Sand-Aid benefit concert.
Bohemia, NY (PRWEB) November 17, 2012
On November 17, 2012, fishbat, Long Island’s largest digital marketing agency, announced that Graveyard Lovers, a blues-based indie rock duo comprised of guitarist/singer Zach Reynolds and drummer Tricia Purvis, will join the Sand-Aid benefit concert lineup including:
Sand-Aid benefit concert will be held at 89 North Music Venue on November 25th between 12 noon and 8 PM. These bands will be a part of Sand-Aid’s efforts to raise money for Long Islanders who were devastated by the effects of Hurricane Sandy. Tickets for this event can be purchased on the venue’s website at $10 a piece.
fishbat CEO Clay Darrohn says,” The idea behind this event is for Long Island to come together as a community, and help our fellow Long Islander’s out in a time of need. People have experienced extensive power outages, flooding, and other damages to their homes and belongings. Adding local bands like Graveyard Lovers will make the show entertaining and attract a large crowd of people who can help save Long Island from this travesty. We are hoping we can draw enough attention to raise $20,000 for Island Harvest, a local Long Island food bank.”
Darrohn continues, “Social media has played a huge role for people during and after the storm. People were using social media to check up on friends and family, and stay up to date with news. What we would like to do at fishbat, is incorporate the same use of social media to help those effected by the hurricane. This has been a humbling experience being able to help out our community. Come down and enjoy live music from Graveyard Lovers and many others, and help out your fellow Long Islanders.”
