Templeton Founder's Day Canceled Due to Rain

TEMPLETON, Calif. -- The President of the Templeton Chamber of Commerce announced Saturday that Sunday's Templeton Founder's Day is canceled due to rain.

Founder's Day is when the community of Templeton remembers the anniversary of the arrival of the first passengers off the train in November of 1886, as well as the area's rich agricultural heritage.

Throughout the years, the event grew to include activities centered around the Templeton Historical Museum on Main Street.
