ISLA VISTA, Calif. -- Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a Saturday night shooting on the 6500 block of Sabado Tarde Toad in Isla Vista.
Deputies say they responded to a call of multiple gun shots fired around 1:00 a.m. When they arrived on scene, they saw a possible suspect fleeing the area. After setting up a perimeter, deputies were able to later detain Thomas Christensen. They arrested Christensen for shooting a firearm with gross negligence and carrying a loaded firearm without being the owner.
Deputies also arrested another man, Brett Harris, for resisting arrest.
No one was injured during the incident. Both Thomas Christensen and Brett Harris were booked into Santa Barbara County Jail.
