The maker of Twinkies isn't going out of business, just yet. A bankruptcy judge has ordered Hostess and its second largest union to go into mediation Tuesday.
The mediation will try and resolve their differences. It's a last ditch effort to save the struggling snack food company and more than 18,000 jobs. Last week the company suspended operations at all of its 33 plants across the United States. Shoppers then started snatching up large quantities of Wonder Bread, Ding Dongs and Ho Ho's.
Hostess stores were supposed to close Tuesday, but local stores say they are now closing on Saturday.
