SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The suspect involved in Monday's night shooting in Santa Maria is now behind bars.
Police say 19-year-old Raheem Coleman from Santa Maria made gang-related hand signs and said something to the victim about testifying against his brother. That's when he used a handgun to shoot the victim.
Coleman was booked in to the Santa Barbara County Jail for attempted murder and criminal street gang enhancement. Bail is $500,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
