Lompoc Children's Library To Get Book Mobile

LOMPOC, Calif. - The City of Lompoc has authorized the purchase of a book mobile to complete the city's children's library.

The book mobile will complete the Charlotte's Web Children's Library, which was a decade-long dream for late Lompoc Mayor, Charlotte Benton.

Benton wanted to open a library at her house at 211 South I Street, for children.

Lompoc City Council approved the purchase of the book mobile at Tuesday night's meeting.
