SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif- San Luis Obispo Police confirm, Jason Lytle, a man charged with possessing child pornography and who was on the run, has been arrested in Florida.
Police tell Central Coast News that Lytle was arrested in Miami Beach on similar charges for child pornography and a warrant from SLO Police.
Lytle was first charged back in August. San Luis Obispo Police were looking for Lytle after they found a bunch of child porn on his computer. It's really quite disturbing what a neighbor says she saw and heard at 28-year-old Jason Lytle's apartment. She never thought to call police, until they showed up at his apartment with a search warrant, then she said it all made sense.
Jason Lytle, is wanted for possessing child pornography. His neighbor says she would see him bring young boys into his apartment and that he played loud music at all hours of the night. She even said at times she heard screaming coming from his apartment. Police got an anonymous call this week that lead them to his home and a lot of evidence.
"Memory cards and cameras, right now we are focusing on the computers because that has most of the information," says Lt. Jeff Smith, from SLO Police. Officials say Lytle was even communicating on skype with under age victims.
"Our examiner was able to find those conversations, pull them off the computer and examine them," says Lt. Smith. Other neighbors said when they heard about this, they were shocked. "Its just very sickening, especially with the school so close and so many families here in town with young kids," says William Mishalanie.
With just a quick megan's law search and you can find Jason Lytle registered to his San Luis Obispo address. "I've never looked it up to see what kind of people there are out here, but I guess closer then we thought, closer than I thought," says Brandon Rocha, a nearby neighbor.
